Exhibition Bookings Commence for 2012 -   10th January 2012

This afternoon in the NAPFM Event Office has been very busy following the sending out of the invites to last year's exhibitors. Those that attended the 2011 Event have until the 24th January 2012 to re-book their last year plots. After this date exhibitors will have an opportunity to book any available plot.

From the 21st February invites will go the those companies on the Waiting List to book any remaining plots.

Christmas Greetings from the NAPFM Event Team -   20th December 2011

Exhibitor information will be sent during the second week of January 2012 to those exhibitors that attended the 2011 Event. Further information regarding the 39th NAPFM Conference and Blue Light Fleet Exhibition on the 25th & 26th September 2012 will published in the New Year.

In the meanwhile Mike, Joanna and Val from the NAPFM Event Team would like to wish all our previous delegates, exhibitors and visitors a very happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.

NAPFM Event Team at ESS 2011 -   21st November 2011

Help for Heroes Charity Donation. -   22nd September 2011

NAPFM Members, Exhibitors and Guests raised £601.00 at this years NAPFM gala dinner, the cheque was presented this week by Mike and Joanna to staff at the Tin Hut, Help for Heroes HQ, we would like to thank everyone who attended and donated at the dinner.

NAPFM Attracts Overseas Visitors -   18th August 2011

Pre-event visitor registrations show a higher than usual number of countries represented at this year's event. Currently we have registrations from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.

Collaboration between the three Emergency Services is also attracting more visitors from the Ambulance and Fire & Rescue Services.

With a difficult time in the UK Public Sector market exhibitors at this year's NAPFM Event have an ideal opportunity to explore new areas and show the world what UK has to offer.

NAPFM is Electrifying! -   4th August 2011

Delegates to the NAPFM Conference will hear from Rosie Snashall of the Government Office for Low Emissions; who will be talking on supporting the electric vehicle market.

The exhibition will include a number of new electric vehicles including the all new Vauxhall Ampera and the DFSK Electric Minibus. Other manufacturers have yet to formally announce their vehicles on display. However, we understand that other electric vehicles will include an ambulance.

We also understand that a hydrogen police vehicle will also make an appearance at the 38th NAPFM Event.

Ambulance Fleet Group Finalise Seminar -   28th July 2011

As part of the increased collaboration that has been developed between the Fleet Departments of the three Emergency Services, the National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group has chosen to hold its fleet and procurement seminar at the 38th NAPFM Event in Peterborough on the 7th September. This provides an excellent opportunity for ambulance fleet and procurement staff to meet with many of the suppliers they share with the police and fire services.

Emergency Services Collaboration -   28th June 2011

Operationally the Emergency Services collaborate on a daily basis; also up and down the country there are excellent local examples of inter service collaboration. However, the public sector cuts have been the catalyst for the three Emergency Services' Fleet Departments to examine the opportunities and benefits from national and local collaboration. The NAPFM, the National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group and the Chief Fire Officers' Association Transport Officers' Group are working to identify opportunities to collaborate for the benefit of the three services and the public.

The NAPFM Event Team is pleased to announce that National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group will be holding a seminar on Wednesday 7th September 2011 at the NAPFM Event. This seminar for members of the Ambulance Service Fleet and Procurement Departments will provide an opportunity to combine a visit to the NAPFM Conference & Exhibition which includes many shared suppliers.

ACPO ITS - Fully Compliant “Single Vehicle Architecture” at NAPFM -   4th May 2011

In March ACPO ITS in conjunction with Vauxhall SVS launched its latest version of the Single Vehicle Architecture (SVA) in a Vauxhall Insignia. Following a request via the Department for UK Trade and Investment, ACPO ITS and Vauxhall SVS demonstrated the vehicle in Paris to the senior managers from the French Police. In September at the NAPFM Event, ACPO ITS are arranging to have two vehicles both with fully compliant One Box SVA with driver and vehicle data management systems.

An opportunity to see what mobile data in the future can provide to drivers, managers and fleet departments.
